It's about two brothers who were separated when the older brother ran away from their foster home - Iron House. The older brother was taken in by a huge city gang whilst the younger one got adopted by a rich senator and his wife. It's also a thriller and it's really graphic so I don't recommend you read it unless you can handle blood and gore without feeling sick. It's pretty good so, to go with my little December theme, here are four reasons to read the book:
- The author knows how to create graphic images and tension between the characters. I have been scarred!
- The plot twists are very cleverly placed.
- You understand each character, even the minor ones, as if they were actual people. I don't know if this has been made into a film, but it should be.
- There are no thriller clichés like: someone dies within the first page; there's only one killer in the whole book. It's all carefully planned out.
Overall, this book gets a 5 out of 5. It really is a good read and it will keep you awake.
That's all for now. Stay beautiful x
