Top Tip Tuesday #12

I'm not really a fan of hairspray (the product, not the movie) but I found some pretty clever uses for it that'll help you have neater hair.
They're not new ideas; I have come across them a few times before now.

  1. Spray some hairspray onto a hair grip before you put it in your hair. The grip will stay on your head, locking your hair into place a lot better.
  2. Use a toothbrush - a clean one that you don't use - spray some onto the bristles and use it as a brush to flatten any fly-aways. This is really helpful when you've put your hair into a high ponytail or into braids; your hair will look neater and it'll stay like that during the day.
Bonus Tip: Did you know that hairspray also works on shoes? After you've polished a pair, lightly spray them to maintain the shine for a longer period of time. This is really helpful if you have a job that requires you to look neat and elegant everyday and also saves you money on shoe polish!
