Educating The Little People

Last night was one of those nights o where my siblings and I all just get along. It started with all my youngest sister and brother trying to make pyramids out of playing cards. We all just slowly joined in until we were all at the table trying to make the highest. Collectively, we have 5 packs of playing cards between us, I think, so it was more that enough for everyone.

After we got bored of that we played more card games like our own adaptation of Uno and then Guess Who? where we all chose something for someone else to be and we all had to guess who we were. Since my little siblings have no idea what games there are outside of the iPad and Xbox, the older ones had to teach them. It was a sad moment. We played Guess Who? using post-it notes as well.

When we were all bored of that, we played charades. We had to explain this too. They're really deprived of imagination; they found it way more difficult to act things out and didn't early know what to do. I got to choose what everyone else was going to act out and I kept score too. This went on until 1am. The little ones still weren't tired but I was so I went to bed... We did end it in fits of laughter which was a pretty awesome way to end.

I like spending time with my siblings when we're all in a nice mood. It's better than the times when we're all shouting at each other.

Woman Crush Wednesday: Maisie Williams

Okay, I don't really like doing posts like these but I needed to share my feelings now.

I am absolutely in love with Maisie Williams, okay? She's like this adorable ball of sunshine but she can also be a bad ass! It's so weird and confusing but I love it.

Maisie Williams at the Game of Thrones Exhibition opening in NYC (3.27.2013) (x)

Maisie Williams plays Arya Stark on Game of Thrones. If you read and follow my blog, you'd know that I'm obsessed with the book series. The show is awesome too but I don't watch it that much because I'm so ahead with the books. Maisie plays her really well and she does scare me...

Arya Stark. Game of Thrones.

Maisie as a person is the complete opposite. She's giggly, bubbly and uber nice. The first time I heard her in a proper interview, she was on Radio 1. This was a couple of weeks ago. She was so giggly and nice and it kind of ruined Arya a little bit for me but at the same time it showed that Maisie and an amazing actress. Since then I've just been obsessed. I watched the video with her and SuperFruit on YouTube and I loved it. They're one of my favourite YouTubers along with Pewdiepie and Nigahiga. The Mean Girls scene that they did was so funny. Her Vines are hilarious too.

This chick is so freakin funny. Maisie Williams x)

I find it awesome how she's still authentic as well and isn't ruined by her popularity and celebrity status. I hope she doesn't end up like other child stars. You know what I mean.

Plus she has an interesting yet beautiful face.

Arya Stark.

Trendy Tuesday: Summer Hair Dos

My hair hasn't really grown in the last three months so I guess I'm stuck with a shoulder length bob for the summer. I do like having my hair up, though, and it's just about long enough for it. I think summer up-dos are really nice and there's so many variations. Summer gives us the chance to experiment and find the "do" for us. Having your hair up also makes your body and facial structure more obvious so you need to make sure that you have the right one.

Cute easy bun

Top knots are really nice, especially when you have really long hair. This style just lets you tuck it all away and you're left with this cute little ball of hair at the top of your head. There's so many ways to do it as well and all you need is a hairband and a few hairpins.

Small French Braid on the side, braid all the way down, secure with a clear elastic. Then tease the crown and put into ponytail. Wrap the remaining braid around hair tie.

The Freckled Fox : Summers End Hair Week: The Waterfall Ponytail

I like my ponytails. They're so easy and they seriously do go understated. There's so much you can do if you put the time and effort into one. Messy ponytails can easily be achieved in the morning by not brushing your hair when you wake up. Bedhead, I found out, is the best way to get a more volumised and messy ponytail that looks nice.

I want plain , boring hair that I do not have to 'style ' and that can be easily put up, curled , or plaited

Please start doing this hair!

Easily achievable by braiding your hair in one big braid and sleeping on it. Scrunching and using salt spray is another way to go about it. Beach hair is a very natural look even though it isn't. I really like the style but it's not ideal for everyone since not everyone suits kinky/wavy hair.

Don't forget that the sun also lightens your hair when you're under it for a long time. Having your hair a certain way means that all of the hair exposed will lighten. By wearing your hair down, your whole head will be affected but if you have it up, you're more susceptible to ending up with highlights. It happens to me every year.

Summer is really the time to flaunt and play around with the hair on your head. During the colder months, we all get our hats and hide under them.

With the weather being very erratic right now, I suggest that you take all the sunshine that we have and use it. Especially if you're in the UK...

Summer Hair Don'ts

It's the summer (kind of) so I thought I'd write a hair related post. Why not?

So tomorrow is Tuesday and I will be posting a Summer Hair Styles post for Trendy Tuesday. Last week I did one on anklets.

Anyway, I thought a "Hair Don'ts" post would be ideal since the hot weather does affect our heads and bodies as much as the cold does. If you have thick hair like I do then I think this will help quite a few people. I also like a pun so I took the opportunity...

  1. I wash my hair every day. When I'm feeling lazy then I would skip a day and use dry shampoo but I never take a break that's longer than that. However, I know that some people tend to wash their hair every 3 days or even once a week and use dry shampoo instead. That's fine but it's not ideal when the weather is really hot. Sweat and dry skin and things like that just stay on your head and it'll make your hair really greasy and dirty. You shouldn't really go more than 3 days without washing your hair during hot weather.
  2. Don't overstyle your hair if you're going to leave it down. Up-dos are more ideal for the summer because it takes your hair away from your face and neck so you can stay cooler. If you're going to leave your hair down, style it using non-heat methods or leave it as it is. This will give your hair a more natural look. Using straighteners and hair curlers makes the skin near it sweat as you're styling and it's gross. Your hair needs a rest; it's already getting beat up by the sun and your straighteners will not help. To be honest, when it's really hot I really can't bring myself to do things to my hair. It all just goes up into a bun or ponytail.
  3. Don't forget to use conditioner. It's important to keep your hair soft and hydrated during the summer!
  4. What you eat affects your hair. Yes, it's time for fast food, sodas and ice creams by the sea but you shouldn't forget to drink water and eat fruit. If you're going out then pack a box of sliced fruit to eat during the day - strawberries, kiwi slices and melon slices go really well together.
  5. Don't tie your hair up too tightly. This is something that I am guilty of doing quite a lot. I tie my hair back so tight that I can feel the pull of it on my head. That's bad and I realised that it was because I used thin hairbands a lot. Now, if you have thin hair then you should use a thin hairband; if you have thick hair then you should use a thick hairband. Use hair pins and hairspray to control fly-aways. My hair is so thick that it can break hairbands... If your hair is like that then use two hairbands together. That way, you have a back-up.
I hope this helped! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for my Trendy Tuesday post. That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

A Day Out: National Space Center

So we went to the National Space Center in Leicester yesterday.

I have to admit, the day was for the little ones. It's always for the little ones. My brother and I are at that awkward age where "family friendly" or "fun for all the family" doesn't actually include us. I know I wasn't the only one that was kind of bored at the space center yesterday. There were other people my age with their own families trailing behind on their phones. I was tempted to walk up to them so that I had someone to talk to.

The NSC is a pretty nice place and this is the second time we've gone. The first time was about 4ish years ago and I had fun, you know? There were little posters and stands all over the place. You could make things and there are little contraptions and activities everywhere. But now, the magic is kind of gone. My siblings are still young and they have all these questions that can be answered at the NSC about the planets and stars and astronauts. I don't have those interests anymore. All of my questions are answered so nothing really grabbed my attention.

This is a rocket that was placed  directly above the restaurant there. It blows fake smoke from the bottom periodically and it did entertain me for a while. The people eating under it were completely oblivious and had to move out of the way. That kept my interest for a while purely because it was a bit funny.

We went to a planetorium show before we left and the girl sitting next to me looked even more bored and miserable that I did. The show was pretty good and I did enjoy it. It was narrated entirely by Rupert Grint which was cool; his voice is very soothing.

At the end of the day I learnt 2 things:

  1. You can't play tug of war in space - you'll just bash into each other.
  2. A Big Mac in the 1960's cost 20p.

I also took a selfie before we left:

I Found A Pair

So a while ago I made a wishlist of shoes that I wanted. I also said that I was planning one actually buying one of the pairs on there. Then, a few weeks later they were all sold out and I cried inside.

I also complained last week about having wide feet and how it was really difficult to buy a pair for me. I seriously made a whole post about that, yes, I get really annoyed at weird things. I mean I have to live with this forever so I will complain!

Anyway, I've managed to find another pair (YAY!) and they are super nice. They're from Clarks and I got them from, of course. The sides of my feet poke out a little but it's not that obvious. The nude colours used are also super nice since they can go with pretty much anything and can tone down an outfit that's quite loud.

They have a 2-inch heel - not as high as I wanted - but they're comfortable and that's what counts.

And yes, I took a picture of them on top of my laptop. It's the most attractive place in my whole room...

Don't forget to check out my "It Works" distributor site for skin and body products.

This is the cleanser that I have. It's £49.49 (expensive I know) but it's awesome. The ingredients are all natural and really healthy compared to other cleansers that are packed with chemicals and things that can cause allergies. I had this one encounter with a facial cleanser where my face went completely red and rashed. After that I turned to oatmeal and sugar which is amazing but messy. All of their other products are also pretty expensive and I can't really speak for them since I've never tried them.

The cleanser is 180ml and it lasts a ridiculously long time. I don't think I've made a dent into the amount yet and I've been using it for about 2 weeks now.

It's also my boyfriend's birthday today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you x

Stop Changing Things

Okay, I have been messing around with the colour schemes and fonts of the blog. I'm sorry but I felt that the colours I had before the ones I have now were too bold and overpowering. The colours now are much lighter and nicer to your eyes. The fonts are also much easier to read so you're welcome. :-)

I've been looking at blogs by my friends and other people I stalk and there's look really nice compared to mine. I've been trying to find the best look for it but it takes a while. I'm an amateur still (after a year) so forgive me for having such a basic looking blog.

Also, since it's the middle of the exam season, I thought I would bring up an old Top Tip post I wrote a while back to help with studying so click here to read that. It's just a post on how music helps me as well as a full list of songs from a playlist I have on YouTube. Since then, the music has bored me a bit and I have created a new playlist with different songs; it got tedious and I couldn't bear to listen to them on repeat anymore. I still do sometimes, though.

I also want to promote the whole It Works thing again. I did a whole post on it yesterday so scroll down or click here to see that. It's really beneficial for people who are struggling to lose weight or have skin problems like I do. I haven't used any other body products that work as well as theirs and I have ridiculously sensitive skin. They have stuff to treat stretch marks as well as things to help you tone up for the summer, if that's what you want. The link to my distributor site is at the top of this page along with links to my Twitter account and other stuff. You don't have to log in if you want to buy anything.

Not a lot has been happening in my life lately other than blogging and revision so I thought I'd just promote things a bit more. The changes I make to the blog aren't completely final. I'm always updating the looks and things like that so don't freak out over the site being a different shade of purple.

If there's anything you want to tell me or ask me you can email me. Some people do that already. Commenting on posts work just as well. Barely anyone does that but it works just as well.

It Works

Okay so my mum is obsessed with this thing from America called "It Works." She's a distributor for them now and, apparently, so am I. We both have our own sites to sell the stuff and I would appreciate it if you guys take a look.

Here's a brief yet detailed (enough) description of what this is:

"It Works" is an American business that sells these products to help you lose fat and tone up. They're main sell and most promoted product is their weight loss wraps. You put them on wherever you want to lose weight on your body and in about an hour or so the wraps do their thing. Personally, I don't use them. I am not comfortable with the idea that I can lose weight that easily. They're like an easy way out of the hard work and I know some people would rather do that. I am more comfortable with doing it the hard way and working it off.

These wraps are also pretty ideal if you're just a few inches too big for a dress you have or if you need to tone up just that little bit more before prom or another event like a wedding. Everyone wants to look their best, right? I think this would also help encourage people to be fitter and it's an awesome idea altogether.

Anyway, they also sell other products. The only one that I use is their facial cleanser. I have extremely sensitive skin and I don't think anything else has managed to work well with my face as great as this. I haven't has spots or rashes since I started using it and I like it. The tube is also pretty big so it lasts a long time and you only have to use a pea-sized amount; it's more than enough to cover your face and neck. They also have toners and stretch mark treatments. I can't speak for all of the products, though. The name "It Works" is enough reassurance for me to know that they do work.

One big thing about their products is that they're quite expensive and they're not available in every country. If you want to use their products then you're going to have to make a dent in your wallet.

The products do work, though, and they've given mum a confidence boost now that she's lost weight. They've also helped me with my skin problems...

I'm not forcing anyone into this, by the way. If you want to look at their products then click here or on the link at the top of this site that says "It Works" to get to my distributor site. If you don't want to then don't. I'm just doing this to help my mum.

Trendy Tuesday: Anklets

This is probably my favourite summer trend. Since the weather is hotter, I can go out with my legs on show (they're not the most attractive pair but I have to live with them) and that also means I can decorate my ankle with an anklet.

My dad gets to travel around the world because of his job and he brings back things for everyone. I usually get a tshirt or keyring with the country or city name on it or an anklet!

These are 4 of the anklets that I have. I have a few more that I don't really wear but they're in my room somewhere.

The first one is from Australia and it has a small sharktooth on it! Awesome, right? It's pretty nice and I like the tribal look it has. It can also be worn with anything but I have to take it off when I sleep. I made the mistake of keeping it on once and the tooth stabbed my leg...

The second one is either from South Africa or America. I'm not sure but it's the one that's currently on my ankle at the moment.

The third one is from Scotland. I took a really bad photo, I know. It's made of fake purple gems (it's kind of visible). The one in the middle is a silver ball with little purple studs embedded into it. It's really heavy and you always know it's there. With the other anklets, you sometimes forget.

The last one is from Cape Town in South Africa. The middle piece is a metal oval with the map of Cape Town pressed into it. It looks pretty awesome but sometimes it loosens because the leather strap doesn't really hold the shape of a curve well. I only wear it if I really want to.

Pinterest Time!

Here are some pictures that are 200 times better than the one I took.

Anklets are awesome because they go with anything. They're the perfect body accessory for the summer. We all want our skin out under the sun but we don't want to look boring and simple. The gold ones are awesome for any time of the year but I think I'll stick to my summery ones for now.

Over A Year Already?

I started this blog 13 months ago. That's a long time. In that time I managed to get just under 8,500 views which I am pretty proud of. I also made some friends and followers because of this.

I've used this little space I have on the internet to share my interests, rant, have a one-sided conversation with a reader and just talk about my life and how it's going. It's hard sometimes to talk to people that I know about the little things that get to me and I actually find it better to share with someone I don't know. I don't get as embarrassed and even if this is available to anyone with an internet connection, this space is not popular. It's not like everything I saw will have an effect on a person. If I can make someone smile somewhere out there then it's enough for me. I'm not the most hilarious or interesting person in the world but I do try.

This is probably one of the few things in my life that have kept my interest and kept me going. When I'm angry or annoyed, I can just release it all on here. My anger dies out and I feel much better. I've tried to have some structure in this but all my readers know I'm an erratic blogger. I can go from a post everyday for a week to a post every two weeks or so... I've been more regular with this over the last few months though. Kind of.

Anyway, I like my little space. Not many of my friends know about this and I like it that way. Hopefully I can keep this up for another year. It'll be the end of my life at secondary school and, if I'm lucky, I'll be off to university!

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

English Is A Difficult Language

I have 3 exams left and they're all Maths exams (yay!). Maths is difficult, yes, and I bet that you think it's so Asian of me to be cheering such a difficult topic at school. I find maths to be really easy and I don't think I've ever really struggled with it as a whole. There are small parts of it that I really don't understand and frustrate me at first but I gradually gain an understanding as the year goes on. Sometimes the whole thing just clicks for me at the most unexpected times. It's usually when I'm reading a novel or in the shower... It's really weird!

Anyway, I had English exams this week and I am really glad that they are out of the way now. I convince myself that I'm good at the subject but the same criticisms always come up whenever I'm handed back an assignment - analysis, analysis, analysis! I can't do that to a great extend; there's only so much you can say about a word and I really don't get how some people are able to get these intense and deep interpretations of words like "bad." Bad means bad. The end. Hopefully I did enough to get a high grade. I tried to be a deep and thoughtful person but I can't not feel ridiculous when I write things.

Not the most interesting post in the world, I know, but I had to express my feelings. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one either since the whole nation is doing exams right now.

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

A Day In The Life Of Me: Wide Feet

Background Story:
I had to sit two exams this morning. I got really tired and hungry and I didn't really eat anything until around 1pm. I went to the shopping centre to drop my CV at stores around there and I thought it would be a good idea to go to TK Maxx and have a look-see at the shoes since I have a gift card that I haven't used yet.

Point of blog post:
I have wide feet. I'm sure I'm not the only one but I have really wide feet. They're like a duck's feet. I saw this pair of shoes at TK Maxx that I had a genuine lust for. They looked awesome. I tried them on and they fit the length of my foot but not the width of my foot. They were a white pair of sandals with a black rubber wedge heel. They were amazing and I love wearing wedges...

I was walking around in the shoes and it felt pretty comfortable but at the same time I knew something was off. When I looked in the mirror, the sides of my feet were hanging out of the edges of the sandals like a foot version of a muffin top. It looked really weird but, from the side, you couldn't see it and I looked stunning. Okay, I am really, really upset right now. They were a pretty decent price as well!

After being saddened by my own feet and the thought that I probably threw away my English A-Level in that exam, I went to Starbucks and got myself a caramel frappucino and then 6 cookies from Millie's Cookies which doubled as comfort food and lunch. I put the cookies in my bag and walked with my Starbucks in my hand and my phone in the other. I was also dressed in a day dress and my very tall wedge heels from South. The only pair of heels that I have that can contain my feet. Anyway, I looked like a sophisticated lady as I was walking down the shopping centre and I felt like an adult. That feeling kind of left as soon as I started munching on my cookies.

Dear Shoe Manufacturers everywhere,

Please, PLEASE make your shoes so that there is a wide-fit version for each pair. Seriously. If you don't have wide-feet you don't understand the struggle of not being able to wear nice sandals or heels. Unless shoes look really nice online, I tend not to buy from websites. I'd rather go into a shop and spend about 2 hours trying on different pairs. You can get a better feel for them and you can actually see how they look on you.

Yours sincerely,
That Purple Monster x

Trendy Tuesday: Met Gala 2014

Okay, Okay, Okay. I have this slight obsession with clothes when it comes to things like the Oscars, BAFTAs, and the Met Gala. I love the gowns that all of the celebrities wear. Some are adorable, others are daring and they're all so unique and awesome.

Eurovision 2014

I'm currently watching the scores being handed out for Eurovision and, as always, the UK isn't doing brilliantly. We're slowly slipping down the scoring chart and we'll probably end up on the right-hand side of the list somewhere. We won't be last! Oh my god, we better not be.

For those who don't know what it is, it's basically a song contest for Europe that's held every few years where each country lets loose thee weird and wonderful from their country and place them all on a stage. It's really weird! Super weird. I loved the year when Jedward was on it. That was amazing.

I have to say, Austria and Poland caught my eye. I mean, they were... unique... We gave Austria 12 points so I think the whole country agrees with me on that one.

I feel so sorry for Russia, though. They get booed so much. It's astonishing how the Eurovision managed to carry on with all the stuff that's happening with the rest of Europe and Russia. Even if it is bad, I don't think the signers should be booed... They're there for the fun and I'm more that certain that they haven't contributed to any of the trouble that's happening.

I'll tweet, like the rest of the UK, the position we end up on. That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

Exam Season

It's officially study leave for me. For the next two weeks I will be sitting 4 exams and spending most of my time before it revising, panicking and then revising a bit more. Today was the last day of Year 12 for me. I'm not completely sure on how it works in other schools but for my school, that's the way it goes.

Next week I have English exams to stress over and after that comes Maths! I kind of like how my exams are set out since I can focus on just one subject at a time. During GCSEs I had to switch back and forth between subjects and it also meant that last minute revision had to happen between my friends and I over Skype. Those never ended well... We always ended up off topic and giggly. We did get work done and I don't think I would have done as well as I did last year without it. It was funny, though, since our exams in the afternoon meant that we all had to change into our uniforms at different times during the Skype revision sessions and leave at different times. It takes me an hour to get from my house to school - forty minutes on a good day - and with some of my friends, it only takes them about ten minutes. It sucks but I have to live with it.

Today was also the last day for the Year 11s and they were all pretty frantic and got in the way of EVERYONE during school earlier. I guess we were like that last year... I know I spent the day running around trying to get my shirt signed by everyone I knew regardless of whether or not they were actually mving school. I had sharpie marks on my arms and my face by the end of that day.

I ended today with a Product Design lesson. Our teacher loves us so much that she bought us a cake and pastries from Costco. I ate more than everyone else. It looked really nice and I wasn't going to turn down food. My friends and teacher were all looking at me like I was crazy.

This also shows how fast a year flies by. I didn't even realise a year had passed me!

I felt that the day needed a selfie and I looked okay today - I had massive dark circles around my eyes so I did my best to hide them.

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

A Monster For A Monster

One of my friends got me a little purple monster keychain and I just felt like sharing it with the world. Look!

My eyebags just show the lack of sleep I get...

It's so adorable. I don't know where to put it, though. I was thinking of having it on my school bag but I only have 2 more days of school before I go on study leave. I might just have it there and then I'll move it to a smaller bag. It can be a mascot for the exam season.

It needs a name! Any suggestions would be nice.

Trendy Tuesday: Denim Jackets

Denim jackets are one of the fashion world's staples along with leggings, espadrilles and jeans. They never go out of date and, although the trend may fluctuate from time to time, it's still around somewhere.

maxi's and cropped jean jacket - one of my seniors NEEDS to wear something like this!

I'm actually not a great fan of denim jackets. I have one but I never wear it. I think they look really nice but they're not really something I feel comfortable in, mainly because movement is restricted and if you're like me, you tend to avoid clothes that make you look wider because of your figure. I have small boobs and wide hips so things like denim jackets, or anything that has no stretch around the body, tends to be loose around the top half of my torso and tight around the bottom half of my torso. Even though they're not for me, they still look really nice.

Denim jacket, cute dress, sunglasses and accessories #outfit

Lighter jackets go really nice with pastel colours and with brown or floral heels. Blondes are better off with pinks, creams and white shades whilst brunettes are better off with light-blue, greens, and browns. For a redhead, green is also ideal to contrast with the hair.

a denim jacket with a floral dress is the perfect spring outfit! Perfect for casual and a bit nicer occasions!

Summer outfit

Darker jackets are better for the bolder colours - brilliant red, dark blue and black. They look perfect matched with boots  Stripes are also nice with a dark jacket. Blondes should avoid a dark jacket since it might wash out their face and hair. Brunettes and redheads would look great in a dark jacket and would give them a bad-girl meets girl-next-door look.

An outfit by Miranda Kerr that I've actually worn myself. It's a standard for me. : )

red button up top, denim jacket, checked skirt, tights, and brown boots. Just maybe with a black blazer instead

I made snicker doodles!... Sort of...

I found a bunch of recipes on Pinterest (there's no lack of them there) and the majority of them were cookie recipes. I found one that claimed to be the "best snickerdoodle recipe" so I thought I'd give it a try. Last time I checked, snickerdoodles don't really have popularity in the UK and I've always wanted to try them since they're on TV a lot. I wasn't exactly sure of what to expect and I think I was way too cautious about the cookies. I intentionally left them in the oven for too long which resulted in them becoming really flat and they looked like any other cookie you'd have. I was disappointed but proud as well; I don't make things from scratch that much. I'm all about the packet cakes and ready-mades, guys.

The cookies did taste amazing, though, and at least I know what to do next time. I did 30 minutes of Zumba this morning but I'm pretty sure I gained every calorie plus more than I lost from those cookies. To be honest, if I didn't do any exercise I would be mega concerned right now.

This is the recipe that I used. My cookies looked nothing like them (you'd know if you saw them on Snapchat) and they were square as well!

So far, in my life, I have made shortbread, home-made pizza, cupcakes and cookies from scratch. Can I consider myself as a baker now?

Strada And Selfies

Hey! I'm feeling much better now compared to earlier this week and it's great. It's the Bank Holiday weekend (again) and I'm spending it babysitting so it's good that I don't feel like death at the moment.

I went to have dinner yesterday at Strada with my friends (it was a girls night out) and it was really fun. The food was amazing - especially dessert - and I don't think I've eaten that much in a long time. Today the guys are all out paint-balling. They invited the girls but none of us really wanted to go and we couldn't afford both the dinner and that. During dinner we chatted and laughed A LOT. I'm surprised that nobody actually complained about us. I was the last one to show up, as always, and when I got there they were all wearing a denim jacket. It was like I missed a memo or something.

Anyway, it was a fun night and I really needed that. It was nice to just relax for a few hours.

My face has also been a mess this week, not just my mood. I have really sensitive skin and there are days when my cheeks go really pink and dry. It's horrible and it meant that I couldn't take any nice selfies unless my face was washed out by light. I have been using oatmeal and E45 moisturizer on my skin religiously and it has improved my skin massively. My face isn't as rough or as pink. I have been avoiding foundation as well but I wore it yesterday on top of my moisturizer and it actually helped...

Favourite Moments of April 2014

It's May! We're a week away from exam season and the weather couldn't be brighter...sarcasm....

April was a good month. I definitely had good moments but they weren't all amazing.
  • Half term! I needed a break so badly.
  • Spending some time with one of my close friends. I haven't seen him in almost a year.
  • Meowmeow Star Acres. Amazing boredom killer.
  • I finished reading A Storm of Swords.
  • I went shopping with a friend and bought new, summery clothes! If the weather was warmer, I might actually be able to wear them...
I don't play Meowmeow Star Acres anymore. It was great but I got to level 50 (in about 3 weeks) and nothing really happened anymore so I deleted it from my life. I also reached the friend limit so stop asking for me to add you, please.
